Mindful Communication: Who are you Unknowingly Excluding?
With an overdue focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and accessibility, communicating effectively and mindfully is critical to ensure your message reaches and resonates with your desired audience. We are constantly communicating. Are we reaching our intended audience? Communication extends to your team, coworkers, leadership, existing and prospective clients, partners, media, vendors and stakeholders. Messaging spans one-to-one, small and large-group communication through verbal, non-verbal, visual and written communication.
In this session, attendees will learn how to identify and acknowledge who one may inadvertently be excluding through communications (or lack of), how to think more broadly about how people consume your communication and ten mindful ways to communicate.
