Taking the Leap: A Look and Conversation on Non-Linear Career Paths
Join us to hear from two incredible women. Danielle Day left her job at the height of her career as senior medical director at a pharmaceutical company to follow her dream to do work that aligned more with her values, passions and skills. What did it take to make that leap? Danielle will share her journey from feeling the call more than 7 years ago to do something different, to finding the courage to finally answer that call, including the creation of a practical plan that would allow as smooth a transition as possible from stability and security to the exciting (and terrifying) unknown.
Dr. Candice M. Hughes started her career as a research scientist before entering the industry working with some of the biggest global pharmaceutical companies. After twelve years in roles ranging from Senior Vice President to Director of Programs, she took a sharp left turn and started her own biopharma consulting company. Within the two months, she signed her first six figure contract.
