In celebration of International Women's Day, we present this series of table talks on topics of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Join one or more of these small group events for an intimate discussion on current event topics with leaders across different organizations.

Why choose to challenge? When we choose to challenge it can help to increase inclusivity and eliminate bias and inequity.

Join Trudy Bullard, Senior Therapeutic Nutrition Specialist for Abbott Nutrition and Southwest Regional Director, HBA Women of Color Affinity Group in a lively discussion on how you can make a difference and move the needle when you choose to challenge.

Trudy Bullard is a Dallas Native and the youngest of five children. She is a first generation college student, dean's scholar and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising with a minor in Business Administration.

Trudy has been employed with Abbott Laboratories for over a decade. She began her Abbott career as a Senior Veterinary Consultant with Abbott Animal Health selling anesthesia and medical devices to veterinarians. For the last six plus years, she has worked as a Senior Therapeutic Nutrition Specialist for Abbott Nutrition. Some of her key accounts include: Baylor Scott & White, Texas Health Resources and Texas Oncology. As a nutrition specialist, Trudy educates physicians and their staff on the role nutrition plays in improving patient outcomes and helping them live their lives to the fullest.

When she's not working, Trudy co-leads the Women's Ministry and serves as a member of the Women's Health and Wellness team at her church, Christ Community, Richardson, TX. In her free time, she teaches and loves to dance including: line dance, swingout, stepping, ballroom and salsa… just to name a few.
