HBA NEW YORK PRESENTS

Uni-Tea: Addressing Racial Disparities in HBA Member Experiences

The HBA has made great strides in becoming more diverse and inclusive over the past several years, but there may be more we can do to make women of all backgrounds feel welcome and supported. This special networking session will be dedicated to learning about the experiences of members from minority communities, and determining whether race/ethnicity may serve as a barrier to accessing the full potential of our organization. We'll strategize on solutions, and do a deep-dive into what we, as a chapter, can do to move the needle on getting more women of color into our local and regional boards, as well as, into boardroom roles at the companies we partner with. Bring your stories and ideas, and a beverage of your choice!
