Facing my Feelings of Guilt - Enjoy Work, Play & Life

Brickhouse Blue, Dublin, OH
Tuesday, December 14, 2021 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM   Add to Calendar Eastern Standard Time

Join us in person for an interactive learning experience. Marcia Miller will offer ideas and host a community discussion about guilt, how it works, its effects on us, and what we might be able to do to move into more effective reactions to the moments of our lives. Interspersed throughout the program will be specific, nurturing practices so that you’ll leave feeling refreshed, with your nervous system balanced. Marcia Miller, IAYT-Certified Yoga Therapist, E-RYT 500 Yoga Teacher and Trainer, is a lifelong yoga teacher and trainer of teachers. She created the yoga protocol for two research studies at The Ohio State University in which yoga reduced inflammatory markers and was beneficial to women recovering from breast cancer. In 2000 she co-founded Yoga on High and just recently sold it after 21 years of teaching and training people from all walks of life. Now, she is teaching as Marcia Miller Yoga and focusing on her passions in yoga: teaching caregivers how to support themselves and teaching people with trauma how to ease their symptoms, often the same populations. Another deep area of study and teaching for her is the nervous system and Polyvagal Theory. She is also a national senior trainer for an integrative therapy training called UZIT, which is already used in many of your hospital systems.
