HBA NEW YORK PRESENTS

Understanding Payment Reform with the Transition to Value-Based Care

As our healthcare industry moves away from fee-for-service and towards a system of value-based care, healthcare organizations and professionals are faced with a rotating door of changing payment requirements, systems and laws. It can be confusing, challenging and at times daunting to keep up. It's critical for executives across all areas of healthcare to have an understanding of where the industry is headed and how value-based care and payment reform may impact the industry and their organization.

Industry experts from Johnson & Johnson and Baruch College will lead an intimate training-type discussion on the state of the industry, including:
• How the US is currently paying for healthcare, and how it's changing (breaking down the acronyms)
• What you need to be prepared for
• What could be exposing your organization to risk
• Challenges with measurement in a value-based system
• Where the industry may be headed next to control costs and increase value
