Connecting with people who are different from you can be challenging, especially if you don’t know what to say or how to interact. Yet, we all share a desire for human connection and belonging. This session will provide background regarding legislation on inclusion efforts, education on appropriate conversations, and guidance on words and actions that can foster an environment of dignity, respect, and inclusion. In addition, this session will educate the audience on a CEO's personal and career journey while living with a disability. We welcome special guest speaker, Aimee Wehmeier, president at Paraquad to share her experience and help us to dive deeper into this important conversation.
