HBA Greater Rochester Book Club: Digital Body Language

Virtual - Zoom
Wednesday, April 19, 2023 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM   Add to Calendar Eastern Standard Time

HBA Greater Rochester is back with the next iteration of Book Club! For our April meeting we will be reading ‘Digital Body Language’ by Erica Dhawan. This will be a closed chapter event. During our conversation we will discuss our learnings from the book on how to expand our communication skills in our hybrid world - from clear email and texts, productive video conferencing, effective social media posts, how to manage remote connections, and more. Come ready to share your takeaways during our open forum on working in the digital age! In her book, Dhawan “combines cutting edge research with engaging storytelling to decode the new signals and cues that have replaced traditional body language across genders, generations, and culture.” “Digital Body Language will turn your daily misunderstandings into a set of collectively understood laws that foster connection, no matter the distance. Dhawan investigates a wide array of exchanges―from large conferences and video meetings to daily emails, texts, IMs, and conference calls―and offers insights and solutions to build trust and clarity to anyone in our ever-changing world."
