HBA ZURICH-ZUG PRESENTS

Empowering Women To Thrive

IMPORTANT: The Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA) requires that all persons who participate in in-person events do so at their own risk and that each participant agrees to the following agreement prior to taking part in the activity and urges all participants to act in such a manner as to protect their own safety and the safety of others.

By registering for this event, I fully understand that my participation in the program is purely voluntary. I desire to participate and agree to act in a reasonable and prudent manner under the circumstances. I further understand that any HBA volunteers participating in the activity will be acting in an individual capacity only and will not represent the HBA. As a condition to my participation in the activity, I waive and release the HBA and their officers, employees, and agents from any claim that I may have for any damage to property or injury to my person that may result in whole or in part from my participation.

Gender gap in the workplace is a known fact. Women are not only underrepresented at every level, the pandemic has also driven women out of the workforce in much larger proportions than men. On the other hand, digitally enabled flexible and remote working conditions may bring new options for career progression, or may be seen as challenging factors.

How can women stand out today and play their cards right to enjoy thriving careers? And equally important, what role do employers need to play within this context?

In this in-person event moderated by HBA Zurich-Zug board member Claire Murigande, two esteemed speakers will share their insights with different lenses: from championing each other to creating an inclusive workplace culture.

Sarah Meier is the founder and CEO of parents@work. With a unique and innovative approach, Sarah's company enables corporate organizations to build up their own peer coaching program for parents.

Valentina Coco is the CEO of Coco Consulting and Coaching. Valentina brings a solid track record of implementing inclusive leadership strategies, helping leaders create inclusive teams and making their businesses thrive.

Two additional panelists will join the discussion to further address questions, such as supporting women who return to work after an extended career break.

We will welcome Roberto Galdo, EMEA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council at Dentsu International and Head of Salesforce at Merkle DACH, as well as Venessa Gentile, Founder of BWBW and CMO Salesforce Switzerland.

Join us for this event in the heart of Zurich to learn about available possibilities empowering women to lead fulfilling careers in the Swiss labor market.
