Spoiler alert—this anthology of travel essays may tempt you to leave the house without a boarding pass and a Rollaboard. Read the narratives of courageous women on journeys of personal discovery who hit the road in vans and vintage campers. She Explores offers something for every type of outdoor adventure traveler—from the beginner who wants to recapture the bygone magic of Girl Scouting to the nomad who seeks to get off the grid. Aligning with the HBA theme of fearless women, April’s book club choice examines how outdoor adventure intersects with themes like mental health, motherhood, conservation, equity, and inclusion. Become empowered to plan you own journey and learn how. She Explores is available on Amazon:

Studies have long shown a connection between professional success and reading habits. In addition to helping us broaden our perspectives, books have the power to transport us during times of social isolation. #HBAMidAtlantic is committed to helping members stay connected through virtual networking and professional development offerings like the members-only Virtual Book Club. The club meets every second Thursday of each month, and members register for each monthly activity separately.
Join the conversation and share your own outdoor tales with other fearless women!

Facilitator: Lori Bainbridge, Senior Vice President of Strategy & Development at Ardelis Health
