The past year has forever changed our relationship with technology. During the pandemic, technology made it possible for many people to transition to remote work environments; ensured that our children remained connected to school and friends; and kept us in touch with our loved ones. Unfortunately, our increased exposure to technology during this period has also contributed to the erosion of work-life balance (always needing to be “on”); fatigue and exhaustion resulting from 9-to-5 back-to-back Zoom calls; and other health-related concerns stemming from extended screen time and less than optimal seating arrangements.
After a year of technology immersion, it is time for a digital detox.

Please join us for our Dare to Care: Digital Detox Strategies open forum to share your experiences and brainstorm ways to realign our relationship with technology. Collectively, as the local, state-wide, national, worldwide HBA community, we can learn from each other and thrive together.

The HBA is a united force and Dare to Care is a channel to unite us. It is an opportunity to come together to share daily life’s insights, identify lessons learned, brainstorm solutions to the common, persistent challenges and discover how we can manage through this together. These sessions will reinforce the HBA’s core goals to strengthen women’s networks, make new connections, and generate new ideas related to personal and professional life.

HBA NNJ believes leadership is not time-bound but a full-time commitment that takes initiatives. The HBA looks to lead its members into conversations with each other; to speak to regular, daily challenges faced by each other, and to encourage the authentic, transparent, and transformative thought and connections.
