The majority of diseases are nonhereditary and due to various agents, such as environmental factors, physical factors, and hormones. However, there is a relatively large number of rare genetic diseases and certain genetic variants can exacerbate the effects of negative environmental factors. Gene therapy has the potential to transform healthcare for both inherited and acquired diseases.

During this program we will learn from two experts about their research and the recent advancements in this rapidly growing field. Presentation topics:
- Epigenetic Underpinnings of Hormone - Refractory Cancers: New Targets and Therapeutics in Development
- Gene Therapy: Principles and Practice

Join us for a very special evening of gaining insight in the development of novel therapeutics and how it may impact the future of personalized medicine.
