The fit to lead and women of color affinity groups have partnered with the American Heart Association for a conversation on heart disease, its impact on women of color and simple preventative measures that can be implemented. The event will end with networking while we make heart healthy smoothie bowls. Participants will need to buy the ingredients for the smoothie bowls and have access to a blender for the networking event.

Ingredients:
2 cups Frozen berry medley (strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries)
1 cup Frozen dark cherries
½ cup Chopped beets
1 tbsp ground flax seed
1 cup water
½ cup milk of choice

Toppings:
Fresh blueberries
Chopped walnuts
Raw pumpkin seeds
Chia seeds
