Bridges or Ladders? Make your career MOVE!

Zoom
Tuesday, October 25, 2022 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM   Add to Calendar Eastern Standard Time

In August we navigated through career changes in the age of Post-COVID, the Great Resignation and the adoption of digital technologies. Career resilience has become a muscle we’ve all had to develop. But what if you are at your wit’s end? If it’s time for a career transition, what is holding you back? We imagine the worst and settle back into routine. Meanwhile we read stories of people navigating purpose-driven careers between departments, industries, and countries, achieving new heights. How did they quit their current career path to find work-life balance, happiness, passion, all while remaining financially viable? The first step is recognizing you are in charge of your career. But how do you plan a career with purpose, transitioning from where you are today to a better tomorrow? Strength finders, SMART goals, mentorship, transferable skills, networking, social media presence, personal branding, education, and executive search are some options but how do you determine what is right for you? From professionals who made career transitions, to a career coach and executive recruiter who helped those who did, learn how to leap with faith not in the absence of fear but in spite of it. Let’s get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
