NNJ Dare to Care: Unconscious Bias

Virtual
Wednesday, October 19, 2022 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM   Add to Calendar Eastern Standard Time

Biases have an impact on how we interact with others, whether it is with colleagues or clients, in hiring or firing or how we act or react in different situations. Through listening and learning, we’ll focus on fostering and nurturing affinity between one another and uncover commonalities among us that will help strengthen both personal and professional relationships. Join the NNJ Dare to Care: Unconscious Bias open forum to share experiences and discuss ways to identify, own and overcome individual biases. Collectively, as the local, state-wide, national, worldwide HBA community, we can learn from each other and thrive together. The HBA is a united force and Dare to Care is a channel to unite us. It is an opportunity to come together to share daily life’s insights, identify lessons learned, brainstorm solutions to the common, persistent challenges and discover how we can manage through this together. These sessions will reinforce the HBA’s core goals to strengthen women’s networks, make new connections and generate new ideas related to personal and professional life. HBA NNJ believes leadership is not time-bound but a full-time commitment that takes initiatives. The HBA looks to lead its members into conversations with each other; to speak to regular, daily challenges faced by each other, and to encourage the authentic, transparent, and transformative thought and connections.
