Please join us as we welcome Robyn Coley for an engaging session centered around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – a strategic imperative of the HBA! Robyn will share the inspiring journey of her grandfather’s grandfather from slavery in Georgia to freedom in Canada, the journey that got her here professionally as a Black woman in corporate America, and experiences she faced along the way. It’s through story-telling that we learn about each other’s experiences and gain the ability to connect at a deeper level. Throughout her career, Robyn’s been engaged in several associations and served on boards which focused on organically growing & serving communities, with a particular passion for urban and marginalized communities. At a young age she had a passion for community and service. Wanting to encourage others to find their own love of service and the community around them, she became a youth motivational speaker, doing speaking engagements throughout the area. During high school Robyn became the youngest voting member on the Southfield Community Foundation’s Board of Directors. She was also Chair of the Youth Advisory Council for the Foundation, managing grant funds for youth in the city of Southfield. Robyn is the proud mother of 2 daughters and resides in Scottsdale, Arizona.
