HBA RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK PRESENTS

Wellness Wednesday: Talk Saves Lives

The HBA RTP Chapter invites you to connect with others during our 2025 Wellness Wednesday series—a space to focus on your well-being, both personally and professionally. Your wellness matters—not just for your life and career, but for your team and community as well.

Join us for an interactive session designed to spark meaningful conversations around mental health and suicide prevention. Together, we’ll explore ways to care for ourselves and support those around us.

You’ll connect with others and have interactive discussions amongst the group led by the facilitator which will focus on these topics below:

  • Scope of the Problem: Current data on suicide in the U.S.
  • Research Insights: What contributes to suicide risk, how it affects different communities, and the underlying causes of suicidal thoughts
  • Prevention Tools: Protective factors that reduce risk and everyday strategies for maintaining mental wellness
  • How to Show Up: Recognizing warning signs, starting supportive conversations, and knowing where to turn for help—whether for yourself or someone else

This event is part of our commitment to building a culture of connection and care. Mark your calendar, bring a friend, and be part of a powerful conversation that helps foster community and support across our network.
