HBA PARIS PRESENTS

HBA Paris presents: The Diversity & Inclusion in Healthcare Series: Session 2

Advancing Women Leadership for a Stronger World Post the COVID-19 Crisis

The COVID-19 pandemic is the defining global crisis of our time. It has been a game changer for societies and economies alike. Compared with previous crises, COVID-19 has the potential to ignite more persistent change.

HBA is dedicated to promoting gender equality for women working in the healthcare sector. As we explore the disproportional effect this crisis has had on women it is also important to highlight the female leaders who have set the example of what leadership should look like as we move into a new post pandemic world.

A solid Diversity & Inclusion strategy is needed to achieve this goal. While companies have made progress, and resistance to diversity and inclusion are still strong. To promote an optimal D&I strategy, we are launching a series of exchanges with senior leaders from various companies in the healthcare industry. The objective is to facilitate a discussion, within a safe group of like-minded individuals, about ways to develop and implement an effective D&I strategy. During these sessions, we will be able to share our experiences and discuss companies’ initiatives and better understand the challenges of implementing new ideas.
