HBA Fit to Lead Team: New Jersey Races at the Jersey Shore

Event description
Join the HBA Metro Fit to Lead team for a weekend of fitness and fun at the Novo Nordisk New Jersey Marathon at the Jersey shore. Fit to Lead encourages you to participate in your choice of the following the events taking place over the course of the weekend: 5K, half marathon relay, half marathon or marathon.

Registration for the HBA Metro Fit to Lead team for the New Jersey marathon is a two part process: free registration through the HBA website and official registration through the marathon website. As a part of the HBA Metro Fit to Lead team, you will be offered a 10% discount on your race registration in the form of a discount code via email after registering through the HBA website.

You will also be invited to join a series of teleconferences with other HBA Metro Fit to Lead team participants for additional information, motivation and team building. Race day support and encouragement included.

Additional New Jersey marathon details are as follows:
April 30, 2016: 5K (3.1 miles) at 3:00 PM
May 1, 2016: half marathon relay for you and another participant (6.6 miles and 6.5 miles), half marathon (13.1 miles) or marathon (26.2 miles) at 7:30 AM

Agenda
Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 3:00 PM:
- 5K (3.1 miles looped course along the oceanfront, rear Lawn at the Ocean Promenade in Long Branch)

Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 7:00 AM
- Relay marathon (the first leg of the race will be approximately 6.6 miles long, the second leg of the race will be approximately 6.5 miles long)
- Half marathon (enjoy a 13.1 miles celebration through the neighborhoods and business districts of Oceanport, Monmouth Beach and Long Branch)
- Full marathon (enjoy a 26.2 miles celebration through the neighborhoods and business districts of Oceanport, Monmouth Beach and Long Branch)

Special instructions: Registration for this event is a two part process: free registration through the HBA website followed by official race registration through the New Jersey marathon site. Please note: New Jersey marathon participation fees are not included in Fit to Lead team registration. Registrants for the HBA team will be emailed immediately following registration with a 10% race discount code and the link to register for the race of their choice. The HBA encourages all race participants to sign up for their New Jersey marathon race as soon as possible as it may sell out. After registration, HBA Metro Fit to Lead team members will also be contacted with a series of team teleconferences with more about the event and race days.

By registering for this event, you acknowledge that you may be photographed, videotaped, and/or audio-taped during the meeting and hereby give permission for your image, voice, or survey comments to be used in education, training, promotion, and/or trade and communications media by the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association in any and all media throughout the world, without restriction as to frequency or duration of usage.

The HBA requires that all persons who participate in in-person events do so at their own risk and that each participant agrees to the following agreement before taking part in the activity and urges all participants to act in such a manner as to protect their own safety and the safety of others.

By registering for this event, I fully understand that my participation in the program is purely voluntary. I desire to participate and agree to act reasonably and prudently under the circumstances. I further understand that any HBA volunteers participating in the activity will act individually and will not represent the HBA. As a condition to my participation the activity, I waive and release the HBA and their officers, employees, and agents from any claim that I may have for any damage to property or injury to my person that may result in whole or in part from my participation.
