What's Next? Explore Your Career Possibilities with Women in Science and Healthcare

Join the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and UCSD Extension for a night of learning and networking. Talk with experienced professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare industries about how they leveraged their education and work experience to become the successful individuals that they are today. For this event, you will hear brief introductions about each professional, then break out into tables with small groups to have intimate conversation with our experts. Small group discussions will help you get a deeper understanding of the agility, knowledge and strategy required for career advancement and satisfaction. The evening will end with informal networking to provide opportunity for further discussion.

Light snacks and two drink tickets will be provided to attendees.

5:30 - 6:00 PM    Registration (coffee, tea, water, cookies)
6:00 - 6:10 PM    UCSD statements
6:10 - 6:20 PM    HBA statements
6:20 - 6:30 PM    Professionals introduction and seating
6:30 - 7:30 PM    Table talks: attendees shift between tables and professionals in eight-to-ten-minute increments
7:30 - 8:30 PM Informal networking with wine/beer and light snacks

    *To register onsite, please arrive a few minutes early and be prepared to use a smartphone or
      other mobile device to register. Please note that payment is due prior to the start of the event
      and cash is NOT accepted as payment. Please show your emailed receipt as proof of registration.


This event is refundable. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to events@hbanet.org by 19 October 2018. No refunds are available after this date.
