Kayaking, Networking & Brunch!
We are excited to invite you to a unique networking event combining business and adventure: our Kayaking Networking Event on Saturday, July 20, 2024, in Newport Beach, CA.
This event promises an enjoyable morning on the water followed by a delicious brunch, all while providing an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow professionals.
Whether you're an experienced kayaker or a beginner, this event promises fun and valuable connections. You will be randomly paired up for a 2-hour tandem kayaking activity inside Newport Bay. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing this exciting experience.
Additional Event Information
- Meeting point: Balboa Fun Tours & Rentals (2000 W. Balboa Blvd, Newport Beach CA 92663). Located on Newport Peninsula on Balboa Blvd and 20th Street.
- Please bring with you: a photo ID (if you bring other items, we suggest placing them in a water-resistant bag)
- Parking Information: Summertime on Balboa Peninsula is a busy time and parking is particularly challenging. There are several parking lots, a lot of side streets, and metered parking options.
Plan to allow for 15-20 minutes to find parking, download the parking app., and walk to our meeting point. Behind the rental shop, there is limited parking available on 20th Street. There are ample meters along the median on Balboa Blvd. Marina Park 1600 W. Balboa Blvd, Newport Beach has a parking lot on 18th Street (you will see the lighthouse).

Photography Policy
By registering for this event, you acknowledge that you may be photographed, videotaped, and/or audio-taped during the meeting and hereby give permission for your image, voice, or survey comments to be used in education, training, promotion, and/or trade and communications media by the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association in any and all media throughout the world, without restriction as to frequency or duration of usage.
COVID-19 Policy
The HBA requires that all persons who participate in in-person events do so at their own risk and that each participant agrees to the following agreement before taking part in the activity and urges all participants to act in such a manner as to protect their own safety and the safety of others.
By registering for this event, I fully understand that my participation in the program is purely voluntary. I desire to participate and agree to act reasonably and prudently under the circumstances. I further understand that any HBA volunteers participating in the activity will act individually and will not represent the HBA. As a condition to my participation the activity, I waive and release the HBA and their officers, employees, and agents from any claim that I may have for any damage to property or injury to my person that may result in whole or in part from my participation.
