HBA GREATER ROCHESTER PRESENTS

CANCELLED: Find your focus, reflect with friends and experience Breathe Yoga's Wellness Series

HBA Greater Rochester Chapter invites you to join us virtually for a 3-part Workplace Wellness program presented by Breathe Yoga and Juice Bar Inc.'s founder and owner Cyndi Weis, RD, ERYT. She is a 500-hour Certified Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga Teacher and a Masters of Wisdom & Meditation teacher. In these three educational sessions open to members & non-members, we will explore an Introduction to Meditation and Yoga and put them both into practice.

June 1st - Intro to Meditation
The benefits of meditation can’t be argued. Harvard, among others, has scientifically shown short, frequent amounts of meditation actually increase grey matter in the brain to help maintain memory and reduce the effects of daily stress. In this session, you will learn why meditation is important in our daily lives, the types of meditation and how to begin.

June 15th - Intro to Yoga
This class is designed to introduce yoga in a gentle and adaptable way. You will learn some basic poses as well as breathing techniques. Have your yoga mat ready.

June 29th - Let’s put yoga and meditation together, and practice!
You will take what you’ve learned from the last two sessions and we will practice together.

Additionally, registered HBA members, are invited to join 2 exclusive networking sessions being hosted by HBA's Greater Rochester Chapter in collaboration with this educational offering. Our chapter is new and growing and we can't wait to make connections outside of our Greater Rochester network! Each networking session will be held on the same day/time of the week as the educational offerings on alternating weeks (June 8th & June 22nd). We will reflect on what we've learned and connect with other like minded HBA members.

Not an HBA member? You can still attend the educational sessions! However, consider joining the HBA before registering if you want the full experience of this new hybrid HBA event offering!

Additional Information
All educational sessions will be recorded and available concluding the event series. Don't worry about missing a week here or there! Register and come when you can! Also, you don't want to miss out on the special post-event introductory offers from Breathe Yoga and Juice Bar Inc. (virtual and in-person). You may even want to bring these proven program offerings to your business environment to make your employees healthier and happier! Post-event collateral will also include information from Breathe Yoga and Juice Bar Inc. on how they collaborate with companies in a variety of ways to help support their employees.

What you will need for each session:
Having official yoga props at home isn’t necessary. However, here are some items that you can use from home:
• You will need a yoga mat.
• You can use a stack of solid books for yoga blocks.
• Also, have a couple of blankets and a pillow available to create a soft, cushiony space for yourself in a pose.
