HBA's Executive Coffee Chats is a new program catered toward our senior members, which offers more intimate and focused conversation with others who are similarly senior in their career. It is members-only and limited in attendance.
Adria became the Head of HR for Roche Information Solutions in early 2021, following over two decades of service to the Genentech and Roche organisation.

Adria joined Genentech in 1999 as a Bioprocess Manufacturing Technician. Since then, she worked in various capacities in the Technical Operations organisation for over ten years (Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Technical Development). Through supporting and experiencing the integration of Genentech and Roche, Adria became clear on her passion
for people and organisational development. Shortly thereafter, Adria transitioned her career into Human Resources where she has partnered with local and global organisations as an HR business partner enabling organisational change and transformations through the development of people.

With a passion for intercultural learning, Adria first moved to Roche headquarters in Basel, Switzerland whereby she played a key role leading the design and delivery of
ThePeopleProject, a global initiative to evolve HR processes and systems. Thereafter she spent three years in the UK as HR Director for the Pharma affiliate where she led an agile transformation. Adria’s commitment to evolving the employee experience and enabling a culture whereby everyone can bring their whole self to work in service of medicines getting faster to patients is the heart and mindset that she has brought into every role at Roche. In early 2021, she took another transformative step leading the start up of a single digital hub for Roche Diagnostics as the Head of HR for Roche Information Solutions.

While Adria considers herself a global citizen, she grew up in California and holds a degree in Environmental Biology and Law.

As a self proclaimed change champion, Adria is looking forward to the upcoming HBA coffee chat on leading change.

The HBA requires that all persons who participate in in-person events do so at their own risk and that each participant agrees to the following agreement before taking part in the activity and urges all participants to act in such a manner as to protect their own safety and the safety of others.
By registering for this event, I fully understand that my participation in the program is purely voluntary. I desire to participate and agree to act reasonably and prudently under the circumstances. I further understand that any HBA volunteers participating in the activity will act individually and will not represent the HBA.
