HBA OLD METRO AREA PRESENTS

Second Annual Paddle, Push and Persevere: Overcoming Challenges Together

Event description
Looking for an extraordinary activity in breakthrough performance? Join HBA's Fit to Lead team for an exciting dragon boat experience racing on Lake Luxembourg, Core Creek Park in beautiful Langhorne, PA.

Each paddler will embark with their team (20 paddlers and 1 drummer per boat) on a unique leadership experience on 650lb Dragon boats, to "paddle, push and persevere," overcoming challenges together in order to reach a common goal. No experience is necessary for this event to learn about your leadership style through teamwork and building trust and confidence.

Barbara McKeever, owner of McKeever Event Management and a triathlon certified race director, will join us between races to share her experience of perseverance, building confidence, believing in yourself and surrounding yourself with people who believe in you in order to reach your goals.

The event will take place during the Inaugural Bucks County Dragon Boat Festival, where there will be something for the whole family to enjoy: live entertainment, cultural demonstrations and a medal ceremony. HBA paddlers will work and race with their teams during three heats over the course of the morning and early afternoon. Between races, we encourage our attendees to network, enjoy the lunch provided and experience the festival.

Admission to the Bucks County Dragon Boat Festival is free for race spectators but in order to celebrate this special day together, HBA has provided a ‘VIP non-paddler’ registration option for those attendees who wish to enjoy a full healthy and hearty catered lunch with beverages under the HBA tents.

This is a rain or shine, family friendly event. Please click here for any questions about this HBA event or click here for more information about the festival.
