Event description
Our patients’ needs are evolving and increasing. How do we create a positive environment that uses the perspective of our patients’ insights to focus our strategic approach and allow us to become patient-centric? The fundamental economics of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare in the US have changed. We have the opportunity to leverage that change to increase the value to our patients by building a framework to become patient centric.
Top executives from across the healthcare industry will share promising practices and real life experiences on patient centricity.
Our distinguished panel will include:
Raymond Sacchetti, senior vice president, US access and government affairs, BMS
Ray has led the transformation of the US access team and continues to drive customer centered innovation as BMS becomes the industry leading diversified biopharmaceutical company.
Roslyn F. Schneider, global patient affairs lead, Pfizer
Roslyn drives patient centricity and the systematic involvement of the patient voice throughout the development and lifecycle management of medicines at Pfizer as part of the chief medical organization.
Karen Iannella, executive director of external affairs, Boehringer Ingelheim
Karen developed the advocacy role at BI and launched a major initiative at BI to ensure that the patient insights are incorporated across all areas of the organization.
Pamela Bennett, executive director, patient and professional relations, Purdue Pharma
Pamela directs the development and management of relationships with national healthcare patient advocacy and professional associations for Purdue.
Paul Gileno, patient advocate and founder, U.S. Pain Foundation
Paul is a strong force in the chronic pain awareness movement. His mission in life is to empower and support those living with pain. This grassroots organization continues to grow with over 65,000 members with representation in every state.
The program will be capped off with an extended networking session to allow attendees to continue building relationships with other scientific and healthcare business professionals.
