HBA San Diego Presents: Heather MacArthur - Using Performance Management as a Career Management Tool
Join us for the second session of our Performance Management Series, "Performance Management as a Development Tool," an engaging live event led by Heather MacArthur. This session builds on the insights from our June virtual session but is designed to be equally beneficial as a standalone experience—newcomers are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Heather will explore the transformation of performance management from a dreaded annual review to a dynamic, year-round development tool. This in-person session will guide participants through modernizing the performance management process to better serve both individual career aspirations and organizational goals. You'll revisit the roles and responsibilities within this new framework, establish strategies for continuous communication, and learn to use this system for proactive career planning.
Additionally, the session will involve hands-on practice in drafting a performance plan that actively supports career development. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical skills and strategies to leverage performance management as a powerful resource for personal and professional growth. Whether you attended the first session or are joining us now, this workshop will provide valuable tools to enhance your approach to performance management.
