HBA CHICAGO NORTHERN SUBURBS PRESENTS

Confident Conversations: Taking the Scary out of Networking

Are you considering a career change, stepping into a new challenge, or looking to strengthen your confidence and professional presence? This interactive session provides practical tools to help participants better understand themselves, navigate change, and build more meaningful connections.

The session begins with Lisa Mazzoni, who will introduce the Enneagram personality framework to help participants recognize their natural patterns, strengths, and motivations. Through guided reflection, participants will explore how self-awareness can strengthen presence, improve communication, and quiet the inner critic that can limit confidence and growth.

Next, Ann Zartman will lead an engaging introduction to improvisation techniques designed to build creativity, active listening, adaptability, and connection. Participants will practice techniques through real-life scenarios and explore how these skills can be applied to networking and professional conversations.

The session concludes by bringing these concepts together—helping participants identify their unique strengths, connect them to future opportunities, and communicate their value with greater clarity and confidence.

Participants will leave with practical strategies to step outside their comfort zone, approach conversations with confidence, and take meaningful action toward their personal and professional goals.
