Women Remaking Medicine: Lessons from Leading Their Way

American healthcare needs women leaders. It’s just the facts. We're 80% of the workforce and make up the majority of patients – we are the Chief Medical Officers of our families and communities - but still remain under-represented in top executive roles in healthcare organizations. How can diverse, bold, bright voices influence decision making and help fix healthcare's toughest problems? How can we overcome fear and self-doubt to put ourselves in the positions that create change and new models of leadership that fit our lives?

Join three women — author Emily Peters, scientist Asha Collins, Ph.D., and Dr. Hemalee Patel — as they share their journeys on being called to lead in ways that are authentic and impactful. Through true stories of building empires of kindness, fighting good fights, saving themselves, and working to make healthcare healthier, this evening event will inspire you to take action.

Additional instructions: Parking is available in the multi-level structure across from Building 82. Signage will be outside to help locate the parking structure. Please bring a valid government issued ID for security.
