HBA OLD METRO AREA AND HBA OLD GREATER PHILADELPHIA PRESENTS

Managing Your Emotions to Achieve Success

Event description
There are seven emotional tendencies: fear, insecurity, arrogance, paranoia, anger, control, guilt that we all experience from time to time that can hinder our performance, productivity, effectiveness and responsiveness.  Through a combination of an expert speaker presentation, hands on work, and an interactive panel activity you will discover what is getting in your way.

Our expert speaker, Tish Squillaro, CEO of CANDOR Consulting and author of “HeadTrash: Cleaning out the Junk that Stands between You and Success!” will not only help you understand and identify what your natural emotional tendencies (or “HeadTrash”) are when posed with challenges, but will also show you how to manage those tendencies. Through interactive tools she will demonstrate how you can change your behavior for the better.

In addition, our esteemed panel of healthcare professionals will discuss their own experiences with “HeadTrash” and share best practices of managing through it.

Prior to the event, we invite you to complete this free HeadTrash survey and get a jump start on additional benefits from the session. Surveys completed by June 8 will be used anonymously at the event to better exemplify the seven emotional tendencies and so you can visualize where you are in a group of your peers. For those attendees who wish, advanced completion of the survey will also provide the opportunity for a “speed date consult” with our speaker for a personalized response.

Attendees of this event can expect to leave with the tools to develop a personalized plan and new outlook on managing your emotions to achieve success.  Take advantage of this valuable opportunity and join us for what will be a very productive evening.
