HBA MILAN PRESENTS

Rare Diseases - A Long Journey to Help Patients Without Therapeutic Alternatives

Compared to widespread conditions that strike hundreds of millions of people, most of rare diseases receive little attention because they affect only thousands or sometimes only hundreds of patients worldwide. But looking at rare diseases as a collective entity, there are approximately 350 million people living with a rare disease around the globe. And rare diseases touch more than just the patient: they also impact families, friends, caregivers, physicians, and society as a whole.

Join us on a reflection on how to address challenges regarding rare diseases! Panelists from corporate, institutions and non-profit organizations will be discussing about this hot topics, exploring the changes and connecting on future expectations for patients and caregivers as they engage in their healthcare journey.
