HBA TORONTO PRESENTS

Spotlight - Diversity & Inclusion

Diversity and inclusion is a very current topic. However, the need to openly discuss, reflect, and find solutions for better outcomes is not new.

The lack of diversity and inclusion can be visible or invisible. Consider a time when you may have been made to feel “othered” or like you didn't belong.

Consider how your unique perspective could have added to a better result. When we don’t have diverse perspectives at work and in society, we lose the richness of different ideas.

Please join our distinguished panel as they share their personal stories and thoughts on the benefits of diversity and inclusion. There will be a fireside chat with breakout room discussions where participants will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and interact with the speakers. The small group discussions will conclude with whole group sharing.

Speakers:
• Cheryl Louzado, D&I Lead, Canadian Partnership Against Cancer
• Nozhat Choudry, Senior Director Global Alliances & External Research, Santen Pharmaceutical Co.
• Glen Newell, Head of Medical Affairs, Biogen
