HBA FRANKFURT PRESENTS

CANCELLED: Self-Disruptive Leadership for turbulent times in the Healthcare Industry

Companies are facing existential threats and are challenged to adapt to increased complexity and disruption, be it related to radically different business models, demographics like multiple generations in a global workforce, technology with its rapid growth and increasing awareness about potential biases in artificial intelligence, environmental topics and others. However, some still thrive and flourish.

In this event, Ulrike Simon and Jürgen Peukert will share the Drucker Institute / Korn Ferry’s latest research about the leadership qualities that are strongly correlated with the Drucker Institute’s organizational effectiveness. Companies ranked high by Drucker on Corporate Effectiveness have been consistently outperforming the S&P 500 Index, even during the recent market downturns.

Great leaders build great companies, equipped for the long-haul. These findings show the strength of the relationship between a company’s leadership qualities and the company’s Drucker score. In short, the “control, consistency and closure” leadership model is increasingly outdated. Organizations need a new kind of future-ready leader. We will have a closer look at the traits of a self-disruptive leader and the mindset shifts needed to sustain and adapt.

The impulse session is followed by an interactive part in small groups which provides a great opportunity for reflection and networking.

“Change comes from the outside in, forcing us to react and manage crises. Transformation, on the other hand, whether it is business or personal, always comes from the inside out, and that gives us far more positive control while allowing us to actively shape the future.” Daniel Burrus
