HBA OLD GREATER PHILADELPHIA PRESENTS

mHealth: Going Mobile in a Digital World - How Mobile Technology is Impacting Healthcare

Event description
Join us for this exciting and engaging HBA Greater Philadelphia keynote event. The panel will be moderated by Dennis Hancock, vice president of global commercial solutions, Pfizer. The expert panelists (Kimberly Blessing, vice president, Think Brownstone; Geoff McCleary, senior vice president, Digitas Health and Judy Sewards, vice president, Pfizer) will talk about trends and share learnings in mobile technology for healthcare professionals and patients. Our esteemed panel will discuss and offer insights into why, how and where technology is being used as well as the future of mobile healthcare.

A prelude to the panel discussion is an interactive area where you can see and try some of the new applications, devices and technologies being developed by Pfizer.

As a special community outreach initiative, HBA Greater Philadelphia is thrilled to partner with Career Wardrobe, a non-profit organization in Philadelphia, which outfits thousands of women yearly, who are dealing with significant barriers to work by not having appropriate business clothing. Let's consider how lucky we are and help empower and give other women the opportunity to improve their quality of life through simple donations of "gently used” suits, blouses and accessories - including purses, scarves and shoes. Giving back is an important part of inclusion and creating a better community for all.

Learning objectives
1. Explain how mobile technology is being used to improve patient outcomes
2. Identify commercial and scientific trends in mobile technology that are impacting healthcare professionals and patients
3. Use new technology-related terminology
