Making Waves with the HBA: Kayaking & SUPing in Marina del Rey
Join HBA members, leaders, and healthcare professionals for a fun and informal morning of kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) in the marina. Whether you're a seasoned paddler or trying it for the first time, this outing offers a great opportunity to connect with others while enjoying the water. Last year’s paddle was a hit, with sea lion sightings and close-up views of some impressive boats, and we’re excited to do it again.
Participants are welcome to bring their own kayak or board, or rent equipment from the https://www.prosupshop.com/, which recommends reserving online in advance. After paddling around the marina for about 90 minutes, those who have time are invited to join for brunch at a nearby restaurant. This gathering is also a chance to learn more about the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), meet members and leaders, and explore how to get involved. These informal meetups often spark lasting friendships and meaningful professional connections across the healthcare industry.
The Pro SUP Shop is located on the southwest end of the Jamaica Bay Inn parking lot, with several parking lots nearby. At this time of day, parking is typically plentiful.Please note that payment may be required to participate in this activity, and any associated costs are managed independently by the Pro SUP Shop, not by HBA.
