HBA OLD FLORIDA PRESENTS

Spotlight on Emerging Technology in Healthcare

Event details
Healthcare technology is becoming smarter, more connected and ubiquitous. The effect is not just disruptive, it is transformational. The barriers for entry for a new class of healthcare products are dropping. People from a number of disciplines can collaborate quickly from anywhere on the planet to create intelligent products to link to big data and the internet. Upstarts with a 3D printer and a Kickstarter account will be able to compete with established players. The panel members will discuss some of these innovations, the technologies behind them and the emerging trends we will soon see in the healthcare industry. Understanding these trends will help people and their organizations benefit from new opportunities in the delivery of care.

Learning objectives
1. Learn emerging technologies in healthcare
2. Knowledge on technology trends that will have significant impact on the delivery of healthcare
3. Define how these innovations will change business as we know it today
