HBA OLD GREATER PHILADELPHIA PRESENTS

Dine-Around: Talking the Talk - Sponsored by Women in STEM

Don’t be background noise. How can you ensure your message is heard and understood? If a presentation lost your interest, what could the speaker have done better to keep your attention? How can we communicate better across technical boundaries?

Whether you are working on the scientific side or non-scientific side, translating your message for your audience is critical to keeping them listening and having the impact you desire. This Women in STEM dine-around is open to all HBA members and nonmembers. We will be brainstorming ideas for better communication between technical and non-technical colleagues in healthcare. We will be discussing how to describe our work concisely and how to listening to each other will enhance our communication skills and could improve our understanding of different functional areas, leading to a positive business impact.

Dinner and non-alcoholic beverages are included in the registration price.
