Supper Club: Intimate Conversations with Afro-Latina Leaders on Colorism & Intersectionality

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage month, the HBA Women of Color Affinity group, along with corporate sponsor, CSL Behring, will host an intimate conversation, known as a Supper Club tackling the conversation about colorism and intersectionality in the Hispanic community.

Some Latinos identify as white, and about a quarter of Latinos in the United States identify as Afro-Latino, Afro-Caribbean or of African descent with roots in Latin America, according to the Pew Research Center (CNN) and only 3% of leaders at the executive level are Latinx, disproportionately lower than their share of the US population, at 18% (wearehue.org).

Please join us as two phenomenal Afro-Latina leaders, CSL Behring’s Kenia Rincón and Amgen’s Vanessa Nortey, share their experiences to create awareness and inspire others.
