HBA MID-ATLANTIC REGION PRESENTS

Widening Our Lens Conversation Series: New Awareness as a Team Member and Leads

The HBA Mid Atlantic Women of Color Affinity present the Widening Our Lens workshop series. This is a continuation of the HBA MidAtlantic Region’s ‘Let’s Get Uncomfortable’ initiative. This is part 1 of a 4-part diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) series that guide leaders from the internal process they must go through to widen their lens, to the external ways in which they may express that newfound awareness in the workplace. Through personal story and narrative, respective stories of identity, awareness, and accountability as team members and team leads, participants will gain a greater understanding of their role in the DEI work. The series is for leaders in organizations that are prioritizing DEI and who may find themselves struggling with “DEI”, representation, client requests for more diversity, and/or want to lead from the front as it relates to their teams, their work environments, and their work product. The Opt-In podcast hosts Aurora Archer and Kelly Croce Sorg and Bellatrix Chief Strategy Officer Pamela Raitt will meaningfully explain how they are doing the work to take on the disruptive impact of white supremacy by widening the lens of everyone to understand solutions to improve business DEI efforts.
