HBA PHILADELPHIA PRESENTS

Advanced Education and the Career Pivot: A Conversation with Drexel LeBow College of Business

Are you looking at your career plan and considering the role of how advanced education can help you to pivot to where you want to go? Life-long learning and development is the key to successfully planning a career that is continually rewarding and leverages your strengths. Development is wholly owned by you and HBA is here to support you as you enhance your leadership skills, grow your network, and learn new skills.

According to the Forte Foundation, an MBA (Masters of Business Administration) degree can help you to change or advance your career, gain leadership skills, increase earning potential, increase marketability, and make an impact to your community. HBA Philadelphia is proud to partner with Drexel University's LeBow College of Business, which is generously offering a discount to HBA members who gain admission to Drexel's MBA or similar Masters' level program. Drexel University offers part-time and full-time options.

Join us for a spirited conversation about how advanced education can help you with your own career pivot. This engagement event will feature Raquel Arredondo, Associate Director of Outreach, Engagement and Professional Development at Drexel LeBow, hosting a mini-panel along with LeBow alumna Antoinette (Toni) Brock, Exec Director of Transparency Reporting & Operations at Bristol Myers Squibb and Ashley Lautzenheiser, Associate Director of PreMBA and Professional Programs at Forte Foundation. The Forte Foundation's mission is to launch women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, professional development, and a community of successful women. Forte's alliance links talented women, influential companies, and leading universities.

Ashley will lend her perspective on how she has seen the impact of the MBA and similar business degrees positively impact the lives of women. Toni will present her perspective regarding how the MBA helped her career. At this event, you'll also learn more about Drexel LeBow and the tuition discount for HBA members. Finally, we'll also give you a preview of an exciting future event where we'll feature learning opportunities to HBA members from area universities. Intrigued? Come join us to learn more and be part of the conversation!
