Meet HBA San Diego: Hike and Connect

IMPORTANT: The Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA) requires that all persons who participate in in-person events do so at their own risk and that each participant agrees to the following agreement prior to taking part in the activity and urges all participants to act in such a manner as to protect their own safety and the safety of others.

By registering for this event, I fully understand that my participation in the program is purely voluntary. I desire to participate and agree to act in a reasonable and prudent manner under the circumstances. I further understand that any HBA volunteers participating in the activity will be acting in an individual capacity only and will not represent the HBA. As a condition to my participation in the activity, I waive and release the HBA and their officers, employees, and agents from any claim that I may have for any damage to property or injury to my person that may result in whole or in part from my participation.

Join us for a partnership event with Project Management Institute, San Diego Chapter - a Saturday morning hike through Los Penasquitos Canyon Trail to the Waterfall! Explore the beauty of San Diego's nature while networking and forming meaningful connections with Healthcare professionals and project managers of San Diego! We chose this trail for its central location, free parking, diverse terrain, picturesque views and shady spots.

We will start our hike at 9am PT from the Penasquitos Canyon West Entrance, where the parking is, and will walk towards the Waterfall. This route is considered easy: it is mostly flat. The total walking distance is 5.6 miles, elevation gain 134 ft. It takes around an hour to get to the waterfall and another hour to get back. We expect to arrive back to the parking by 11.30 am - 12 pm. Dogs are allowed on leash. Bring your family, furry friends and snacks for a potluck on the waterfall. In case of rain prior to the event, bring an extra pair of shoes to keep your car nice and clean.
