Design Thinking Workshop
Design thinking is an approach to innovation that prioritizes understanding people. While the feasibility of technology and viability of the business are critical components of the framework, the key to creating breakthrough products and services is to spend time knowing the people one is designing for in order to create a product they will really desire.
Gaining empathy is the first step to digging into the opportunity, looking at history, context, objects and most importantly the people involved. We then look for patterns in the research to build on and generate many ideas. We will push divergent thinking letting crazy ideas come forth and embracing many options. Next we generate a prototype we can test out quickly and without much investment. Prototypes are a low stakes proof of concept idea that lets us hear more feedback which then starts the cycle over again in order to keep refining an idea further.
