Event description
During this dine-around, participants will have the opportunity to view two short videos, which will focus on the gap in women leaders and actively discuss the following topics at their tables:
1. Gender and aspirations for leadership
2. Gendered beliefs and expectations
3. Early exposure to gender roles
4. Cultural depictions of career women
5. Fear at the root of many barriers faced by women
Learning objectives
1. Articulate why there’s a gap in women leadership
2. Explain how childhood experiences and gender beliefs have affected women’s ability to become business leaders
3. Discuss ideas on how to enhance your own leadership perception and effectiveness
