HBA WIH GIVE BACK AFFINITY GROUP AND HBA SAN DIEGO PRESENT

Women in Healthcare Give Back: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

The HBA mission is to advance the impact and influence of women in healthcare worldwide. Bold, authentic leadership is built in the boardroom and in service to our community. This October, the San Diego Chapter is putting that mission on its feet.

Join our chapter team at the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at Snapdragon Stadium. We will gather as a chapter at 8:00 AM for coffee, a brief welcome and overview of HBA membership, and a group photo. The walk begins at 9:00 AM.

The route is 3 miles and noncompetitive, so there is no timing and no finish order, and all paces are welcome.

This event is a networking and community engagement opportunity for members and guests. It connects women across the San Diego life sciences and healthcare community in a setting where relationships form more easily than they do across a conference table. There is no registration fee and no fundraising minimum. Any fundraising is entirely optional and handled directly by the American Cancer Society.

The Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA) does not endorse any particular charitable organization and is not liable for any claims, controversies or disputes that may arise from your support of such organization.

This event advances the HBA mission to further the impact and influence of women in healthcare by creating an in person networking and visibility opportunity for members across the San Diego life sciences community. Participation develops the HBA leadership capabilities of community engagement and authentic leadership, and gives members a low barrier setting in which to build peer relationships, introduce prospective members to the chapter, and represent the HBA visibly in the regional healthcare community.
