Webinar - Wanted: More Male Mentors - How and Why Men Should Mentor Women

Please note this webinar will take place from 12:00 – 1:00 PM ET. Please convert into your local time zone and mark your calendar accordingly. This webinar will be recorded, and all registrants will receive a link to the recording following the live broadcast.

Join us for the third of three webinars in HBA’s new Accelerating Gender Intelligence series. You may register for this webinar by itself or save money by registering for the three-part series.

Four decades of research reveals that the effects of mentorship can be profound and enduring; strong mentoring relationships have the capacity to transform individuals and entire organizations. But the mentoring landscape is unequal. Women often have a tougher time securing mentors and, when they do, they often reap fewer career and other benefits.

Mentoring experts and authors W. Brad Johnson, PhD and David Smith, PhD are calling on men to widen their circle of mentees to include women and to “lean in” to mentoring them. Join this webinar for straightforward, no-nonsense advice on how men can become excellent mentors to women while learning a lot about themselves in the process.

The HBA is pleased to welcome Drs. Johnson and Smith to this webinar. Their book, Athena Rising: How and Why Men Should Mentor Women, has been hailed by Sheryl Sandberg as “a powerful and practical guide for men on the steps that will make a big difference for organizations and for women.”
