HBA OLD OHIO PRESENTS

WIS Columbus: How to Say Anything to Anyone Discussion

Event description
One of the biggest barriers to a well-functioning team is ineffective communication.  We will discuss the webinar “How to Say Anything to Anyone: A Guide to Building Business Relationships That Really Work” by Shari Harley. Key points are to establish candor and trust in working relationships, set expectations, determine what's important to others, and how to tell others what you need.

Prior to the meeting please view the webinar on YouTube or read the book. The book is available online, but doesn't seem to be available at the library or local bookstores.

Learning objectives
1. Define strategies that allow you to say anything to anyone
2. Generate examples from personal experience of how the techniques can help to improve communications/relationships with coworkers, supervisor, mentor, etc.
