Description
Today’s working culture demands a level of productivity and technology savvy that is ushering a whole new era of innovation, multi-tasking and success. Today’s employee, consultant or entrepreneur needs to leverage social media to create an authentic and helpful online presence that gets noticed, remembered and followed, so that they can nurture that next opportunity for growth.

Your online brand, your social media presence, your avatar, can help drive your personal brand as an entrepreneur or as an employee. Understanding and maximizing the role of social media and technology is paramount to your success.

Crafting a digital footprint via social media can accomplish several things, including: access to venues/opportunities for better networking and collaboration; providing and seeking mentorship; and, creating and nurturing your brand as someone who can add to business success via thought leadership.

Together, we will learn how to use social media to create a digital avatar, which continuously promotes our brand in real time and online. A great digital footprint transcends cultural barriers, displays effective emotional branding, gains attention and adds value. The web, especially social technology, has made it possible for today’s entrepreneur and employee to design, develop, and sustain an online persona.

Our speaker, Penina Rybak, is the CEO of Socially Speaking LLC, a boutique educational consulting firm. Penina authored The NICE Reboot: A Guide to Becoming a Better Female Entrepreneur-How to Balance Your Cravings for Humanity and Technology in Today's Startup Culture.
