HBA Leadership Journey with Jeanne Zucker

HBA San Francisco chapter presents the leadership journey of a prominent HBA leader: Jeanne Zucker, 2014 HBA president, and vice president of client development at athenahealth. This event provides you an opportunity to learn from the experiences of a senior executive and discuss her career path using real world examples. Jeanne Zucker will be comparing and contrasting her job journey to a career course.  She will talk about how the HBA has helped her map her career course.

Jeanne started her career at the Health Data Institute as a senior analyst. Before moving into the pharmaceutical industry, Jeanne was with Private Healthcare Systems, Inc. where she served in a series of progressive leadership roles starting as associate regional manager and culminating in her role as vice president, network services. Prior to athena, Jeanne held the position of senior vice president, client relations for InfoMedics, Inc. and served as senior vice president, strategic business development; vice president, strategic account development; and vice president, product development over her 15-year tenure with the company. Today, Jeanne serves as vice president client development within the enterprise division at athenahealth, a leading provider of cloud-based services for electronic health record (EHR), practice management, and care coordination for physician practices, health systems, retail clinics and urgent care centers.  

An active member of the HBA, Jeanne has also held numerous roles at the chapter and corporate board level including general manager of the leadership conferences, director at large of professional development, director at large for volunteering, second vice president in 2011, and first vice president in 2012, president elect in 2013, and  president of the association in 2014.

Special instructions:
- Please bring a valid government-issued ID and check in at the registration desk in the main lobby when you arrive to receive a visitor badge.
- All attendees will need to be escorted through the security checkpoint as well as out of the building upon the conclusion of the event.
- Walk-ins attendees are welcomed and will receive a hand-written name badge at reception.
- Please try to arrive on-time before 6pm as the main/front entrance closes at 6pm.  
- Late arrivals (after 6pm) must enter through the BACK entrance which is located on Main St (between Market and Mission).
