Event description
Research shows that ‘executive presence’ (EP) accounts for 26% of what it takes to get to the next promotion. This means one’s appearance, communication and a set of behaviors called ‘gravitas’ must work together to set a leader apart. As one study says, ‘Presence alone won’t get you promoted…but its absence will impede your progress, especially if you are female or a person of color.’
Mike Imperiale and Betsy Jacobs of Sterling Search and Consulting, a retained executive search firm headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, will discuss how executive presence serves as a critical success factor in your career and what one can do to develop and demonstrate it.
