HBA BOSTON-CAMBRIDGE METRO PRESENTS

Holiday Party and Transforming Oncology with Precision Medicine

Event details
Please join the HBA Boston chapter for our annual holiday party. This year we welcome Jennifer Carter, founder and chief medical officer of N-of-One, for a discussion of new technologies that are enabling precision medicine to become a reality. She will discuss the challenges, the future of precision medicine and how this new area of healthcare is improving patient lives.

We will also be recognizing Kelly Linehan, director of volunteer engagement, our 2014 HBA Boston chapter LEAD award winner. Kelly was selected for this prestigious award – given to a single exceptional volunteer in each chapter – to honor her contributions to the chapter, her positive impact on the culture, her dedication to the HBA mission and for her leadership excellence overall.

In the spirit of the holidays, the HBA Boston chapter has partnered with Dress for Success this year. Dress for Success promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Dress for Success Boston provides clothing, confidence and career boosts to more than 1,000 women a year. We will be collecting new or nearly new women's professional clothing and accessories. If your donations are appropriate to wear to work and you would be comfortable wearing your donated item to an interview, we would be grateful for your donation.

Learning objectives
1. Define precision medicine.
2. Explore the potential impact on transforming care
3. Meet and network with your fellow HBA Boston chapter members
