HBA BOSTON-CAMBRIDGE METRO PRESENTS

Setting the Stage: Clinical Innovation from Boston and Beyond

Please join us for the first in our three-part series that is focused on introducing HBA members to the evolution of the life sciences industry over the past 20 years, and the leading role that Boston has played in it. Starting with The Human Genome Project, the latest cutting-edge innovations in genetic editing, precision medicines and AI all contribute to advancing the development of treatments for chronic and rare diseases. This series of HBA programs will explore what has driven the great strides made in therapeutic and disease advancement as well as how to adapt to the realities and dynamics of clinical development today.

In this first event, explore the history from genetics to gene therapy in this fireside chat, moderated by Taren Grom, Editor in Chief Emeritus of Pharma Voice. Bob Coughlin, Managing Director of JLL's National Life Science Practice and former CEO of Mass Bio, and Wendy White, former Chair of Global Genes and former Board Member for the National Organization for Rare Disorders, will discuss the drivers and inspiration behind the clinical innovation that is needed to bring these inventive and life-changing therapies to patients with rare diseases.
